English translation of peines perdues

august 30 2023 Turku Finland After six years of hard work, especially by Justin Piché (Canada-editor and translator), the English translation of “Peines Perdues’ written in 1982 by Louk Hulsman and Jacqueline Bernat de Celis will be presented. It was already translated to Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, new Greek, Italian, Serbian, South Korean, but up to 2023 not in English. There are many contributions from those who knew Louk, worked with Louk and took a genuine interest in his work (Andries van Agt, Philippe Robert, Ignjatović Dordje and Milana Ljubičić, Maria Lucia Karam, Eugenio Raúl Zaffaroni, David Scott, Andrea Beckmann and Alejandro Forero), to give a sense of the meaning of Louk’s thoughts and work. The first official copy will be presented on august 30^th 2023 at the international conference of the European Group in Turku, Finland.
